THIS IS INDY FOUNDATION’S LARGEST FUNDRAISER OF THE YEAR THAT ALLOWS US TO CONTINUE OUR MISSION AND HELP MORE CANCER WARRIORS ACROSS MINNESOTA. WITH THE SUCCESS OF OUR PAST GALA’S WE WERE ABLE TO DO SOME AMAZING THINGS…
We increased our monthly warrior donation from $500 per warrior a month to $1,000. Along with a check, Warriors a keepsake video capturing their story (valued at $250), and INDY goodies. Went from supporting one warrior a month to two warriors. Started a scholarship fund in INDY Foundation’s name. We will be able to award scholarships to Foley High School and St. Cloud Technical College students who are pursuing a degree in the trades. This is something our co-founder Kyle Strand would be very passionate about as a carpenter and tradesman himself. Donated to other local non-profits Quiet Oaks Hospice House & MS Society. | Started an emergency gas and gift card fund for those in need. Newly developed Bereavement fund for the families of past INDY warriors.Added a new event – INDY Birthday Par-Tee at Coyote Moon & Grille. This event takes place in August each year.Plan to deliver over 1500 backpacks to area hospitals and cancer centers. |
